Families with small children can use the marked passage in each of security control zones.
Parents can use the airport strollers for their children - passengers can leave their own stroller with the main luggage and use stroller for children offered by Chopin Airport. Strollers are marked with the symbol of Fryderyk's elephant. They are in the transfer zone, behind of security control zones. Using strollers is free of charge.
A two-level playground was opened in the Chopin Airport. This place of fun is located in the departure zone (Non Schengen), where you can find large toys, mini-houses and slides. In addition there are stands with televisions that display Disney cartoons near the playground.
There are 10 rooms equipped with a changing table, a washbasin and a feeding chair in Terminal A.
Airlines are also trying to make it easier to travel in the sky for families - they offer attractive ticket prices for the youngest travelers, the possibility of taking a stroller or a car seat to the plane and assistance for children traveling alone. The children's menu and infant meals are additional advances available on board. Howewer, parents have to make sure that a special menu is available during their flight. Airlines also offer a range of entertainment for children: from crayons with coloring books, sets of tasks, puzzles and games.
